HELPING HAND
The Helping Hand level is for fourth-graders, 9 years old.
By the time children reach the Helping Hand level, they will be thoroughly familiar with the Adventurer Pledge and Law. They should have had many opportunities to discuss and apply them to their daily lives. They will learn to think more deeply and clearly about the law by explaining it to another person. “Be Obedient” is one of the few passages in the Bible directed specifically toward children. (Ephesians 6:1). It is one of the first lessons that the child should be taught. Obedience refers to a willingness to obey, or submit to, the decisions of our rightful authorities, just as Jesus did.
